Cape Town clubbin'

Despite Cape Town being a relatively small city, it has a fair number of super fancy clubs in an area known as Green Point. After events that are probably best left unsaid, I wound up at the super trendy club Opium on Saturday morning at 2am - by myself. Here's a virtual tour if you want to see it. This would normally be a bad thing, being out at a posh club (that strangely allows no one under 23) by yourself, but I enjoyed it. No more getting ragged on by your buddies, no more shooting the shit to kill time. Just do whatever you want.

And I've also found that the old axiom is true, being a foreigner almost always helps. Being from half a world away usually means people will listen once you start talking to them. It can even get you a dance or two if you're lucky.
